This product is made to adapt your RAT BOI head elastic mask for a larger fit. This elastic will not work with your ear elastic mask as it is too strong and will not be comfortable.
Our masks are made to fit most faces. Measure around your head from the furthest point on the back to your nose. If you are more than 26” you may consider getting an elastic extender. If you have a larger head, beard, or prefer a looser fit, this may be the perfect add on to make your mask the best fit for you :)
Simply remove the elastic in your current mask by cutting it, and thread the elastic through either end of your mask. If you are having trouble you can use a bobby pin or straw to help. Tie a strong knot at the end of your elastic and you’re ready to go!
These are also great options for those of you who are sewing your masks at home and would like our super stretch elastic and slide adjusters to insert into your masks.
Each Extender comes with a 30” piece of elastic and slide adjuster.
