What We Cover:


Packages Considered Lost:
A package is marked as "lost" if it hasn't been reported as delivered, and no tracking update has been made for 7 days on domestic shipments or 20 days on international orders (including Canada). A claim must be submitted within 30 days from the last tracking update.

Past Estimated Delivery Date:
If no status update has been provided and 48 hours have passed since the last estimated delivery date given by the carrier, the package is considered lost. Claims need to be filed within 30 days of the last tracking update.

What We Don’t Cover:

Wrong Address or Delivery Issues:
If a package is undeliverable due to an invalid address, delivery barrier, or the customer refuses the delivery, Rat Boi Shipping Insurance will not consider it lost and it will be ineligible for replacement or refund. 

Incorrect Address at Checkout:
If the customer enters the wrong address at the time of purchase, Rat Boi Shipping Insurance won’t consider the package lost. If it hasn’t shipped yet, contact customer service at info@ratboi.com. If it has already shipped, contact the carrier to try to reroute the package.

Pre-Shipment or Label Created Status:
Orders that are marked as "pre-shipment," "label created," or "shipment information received" aren't considered lost, as these indicate the order hasn't been shipped yet. Contact customer service at info@ratboi.com directly for updates or to resolve the issue. 

Customs Issues:
Packages stuck in customs aren't considered lost. Contact your local customs office to resolve any issues. For Rat Boi Shipping Insurance-replaced orders stuck due to fees, the customer is responsible for the payment of customs fees. 

Law Enforcement Seizure:
If a package is seized by law enforcement, Rat Boi Shipping Insurance won’t consider it lost. For more information, reach out to the shipping carrier.

Stolen Items Policy:


Missing Package After Delivery:
If a package is marked as delivered but not received, Rat Boi Shipping Insurance will consider it stolen after 5 days to allow for it to be located. A claim must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date.

Wrong Address Delivery:
If the correct address was provided but the package was delivered to the wrong location, Rat Boi Shipping Insurance will consider it stolen after 5 days. File a claim within 30 days of delivery.

Damaged Items Policy:


Damaged Items:
An item is considered damaged if it’s unusable. Rat Boi Shipping Insurance requires proof, like photos or videos, to process claims. File a claim within 30 days of delivery. Damaged items typically don't need to be returned to the retailer.


Miscellaneous Policies:

Late Claims:
Claims must be filed within 30 days of the last tracking update for lost packages or within 30 days of delivery for damaged or stolen items. Claims filed outside of this window may be denied.

Recurring Orders:
For recurring orders, Rat Boi Shipping Insurance will replace lost, stolen, or damaged items. Claims must be filed within 30 days of delivery.

Expedited Shipping Delays:
Shipping delays are not covered for expedited services (e.g., next-day delivery). If there are delays, contact the shipping carrier directly.

Out-of-Stock Items:
Rat Boi Shipping Insurance may refund items that are out of stock.

Installment Payments:
Customers are responsible for continuing payments to installment companies, even if Rat Boi Shipping Insurance issues a refund.
