In honor of Earth Day, we want to take a moment to introduce our rat boi team membersĀ and highlight the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry. Our team is made up of passionate individuals who share a common goal of creating a positive impact on the environment in their every day lives as well as promoting ethical practices in the clothing industry.
According to a report by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions and 20% of global wastewater (Ellen MacArthur Foundation, 2017). Additionally, the equivalent of one garbage truck of textiles is landfilled or incinerated every second, according to the Textile Exchange (Textile Exchange, 2020).Ā
