About the Role

RAT BOI is looking for a reliable Seasonal Studio Assistant to join our team during the holiday season. This part-time, in-person role is ideal for someone who’s organized, adaptable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced setting.
You’ll help support our e-commerce and shipping teams during our busiest time of year - assisting with customer service, processing returns, preparing orders, and keeping organized behind the scenes. Every day will look a little different, and you’ll work closely with our small team to ensure customers have the best experience possible. We’re looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, positive, and eager to jump in wherever needed. Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or customer service is a plus, but not required.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Respond to customer inquiries and assist with returns and exchanges
• Process and organize returns, ensuring refunds align with policy and quality standards
• Prepare and coordinate local pickup orders for customers
• Support the shipping team with packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment
• Assist with VIP orders and special requests
• Help track customer feedback and report any recurring issues or improvements
• Support pop-ups and studio events, assisting with setup, breakdown, and customer interactions
• Maintain studio organization, stock supplies, and handle administrative tasks as needed

 Qualifications

•  Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or customer service preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Positive, solutions-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, small-team environment
• Comfortable working in person in our Ventura studio and assisting with local events or pop-ups
